X-Ray Machine for bears donation

With more than 350 rescued bears in our care across Southeast Asia, our veterinary teams have a big job!

This X-ray machine is on our Veterinary Wishlist. It is a piece of essential equipment our teams need to continue providing the best possible care for our bears.

By purchasing this item on our web store, you're equipping our vets to care for hundreds of rescued bears!

Bears can't tell us when something hurts, which makes diagnostic equipment incredibly important! An X-ray machine allows our vets to see what's happening beneath a bear's thick fur, helping them identify broken bones, joint problems, dental disease and other health concerns that may not be visible during a physical examination. Injury and disease are sadly very common in bears who have suffered in the illegal wildlife trade, as time spent in cramped cages can impact their bones.

With more than 350 rescued bears in our care, including elderly bears and those recovering from years of neglect, access to X-ray equipment helps our veterinary teams make accurate diagnoses and develop the best possible treatment plans.

PLEASE NOTE: No product will be shipped to you. Instead, our veterinary team will be notified of your contribution and will arrange for the equipment to be delivered to the sanctuary where it's needed most.
