Our Education team delivers engaging, hands-on programs from 1-day to 5-days long, that bring conservation to life. Students will see rescued sun bears and moon bears, discover the impacts of the illegal wildlife trade, and learn how every person can help protect wildlife and wild places.

Get your paws dirty!

Utilizing a hands-on approach to environmental education, we invite students and youth groups to help the bear care team in preparing food and making enrichment for the bears, such as bamboo logs, grass baskets and treat balls.

We provide an interactive experience where young people see the sun bears and moon bears at the heart of our project. They'll go behind-the-scenes and learn what Free the Bears does to care for bears at the sanctuary and learn more about our work to protect bears in the wild. Kids can get their paws dirty and find out what it takes to care for threatened bears!

Our Bear Den and Bear Discovery Centres are interactive classrooms which provide the perfect place to stimulate young minds on environmental issues, featuring colourful displays and self-learning areas.

We use these spaces to conduct fun and engaging lessons, games and activities involving art, drama, debate, science and maths, all designed to improve wildlife and conservation awareness.

Know before you go:

Starting cost is USD $30 per student per day, but prices may vary depending on your program needs.

Fees include student packs and daily activities between 9am - 3pm, park entrance fee and lunch in Cambodia and Laos.

Transportation is not included, but Free the Bears are happy to assist your school in organising daily transport and accommodation should you require help.
