Authorities in Laos are working to confiscate three bear cubs from the illegal wildlife trade.

We don't yet know much about the condition, age, or history of these bears, but a Free the Bears rescue team has hit the road immediately to find them, with the hope of bringing them back to Luang Prabang Wildlife Sanctuary.

They look to be only a few months old, and are being kept in wire frame cages alongside other wild animals such as a macaques and two tiny gibbons that we are also working to rescue with the help of our friends at Lao Conservation Wildlife Trust.
