Many of the bears in our care are elderly and carry lifelong injuries from years spent confined to tiny cages on bile farms or in the illegal wildlife trade prior to their rescue. As they age, many develop painful arthritis and joint disease that can make everyday movement difficult.

This gift helps provide three months of essential arthritis medication, including pain relief and anti-inflammatory treatment, to keep an elderly bear comfortable, mobile and enjoying life in their forest sanctuary home.

Because when we rescue a bear, we are committed to supporting them through every stage of life, from vulnerable cubs just weeks old, right through to elderly bears in their later years.
