Sponsor Kham

Kham was rescued in May 2004 after she was confiscated by the Forestry Department in Luang Prabang province, Laos. Kham arrived with her brother Deng as terrified young cubs. Had they not been rescued, they would probably have been sold to a bile farm where they would have experienced terrible suffering and an early death.

Kham is an elegant bear with a long slender face and beautiful piercing eyes that convey a great deal of emotion and intensity. She is particularly skilled with her front paws and is a master at extracting food from the enrichment puzzles in her enclosure, which are specially designed to challenge the foraging skills of these highly intelligent bears.

By sponsoring Kham, you will be helping provide for her daily needs - a healthy diet, health checks, enrichment activities and a lovely forest enclosure with climbing platforms, caves, swimming pools and hammocks. We'll email you a sponsorship certificate and send updates every March and September.

To sponsor Kham is AU$420 / GB£240 / US$336 / EU€264 per year - you can choose to make monthly, bi-annual or annual installments (if bi-annual or annual, we'd appreciate it if you could make it recurring to help our small team)Click the button for your donation currency and you will be taken to a SECURE DONATION FORM.
